The Community Memorial Hospital Foundation provides a variety of activities and charitable events throughout the year. They are designed to not only raise money for various hospital programs and equipment, but also to allow the community to interact, on a social level, with the men and women whose tireless efforts protect and comfort the lives of countless Ventura County residents.
The Benefactors’ Ball has been a time-honored Foundation tradition for over thirty years. Every year physicians, hospital administrators and community leaders from all over the county gather together for a night of fine dining, live music, and dancing in support of Community Memorial Hospital. This year there will be an awards ceremony honoring the CMH Physician of the Year, CMH Retired Physician of the Year and the Community Member of the Year. The funds raised at this event support the efforts of Community Memorial Hospital through the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation. Net proceeds from this year’s event will be directed towards the building of the new Community Memorial Hospital.
The Ojai Valley Community Hospital Foundation and the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation have combined forces to present special concerts each year to support the construction of two new healthcare facilities for our communities. The concerts are held each fall at the historic Libbey Bowl in Ojai, California. The funds raised by this event support new healthcare facilities for our communities.
Annual Year-End Appeal Campaign
At the end of each calendar year, the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation holds a year-end appeal campaign seeking support for the programs, equipment and services of Community Memorial Hospital.
